Workshop Heating Solution
Powrmatic was selected to supply a warehouse heating system to warm the warehouse and staff on cold mornings, providing a comfortable ambient temperature and during the summer months to keep the area cool using sweep fans. Engineers installed the system by Druggit & Harding Ltd, consisting of 2 LNVx60 unit heaters and 6 Low-velocity sweep fans.
MW Insulations based in Manchester are fabricators and suppliers of Supaphen phenolic and Supapir PIR rigid thermal insulation pipe section. Their warehouse required a cost-effective and reliable heating solution for a 828m² building.
Druggit & Harding Ltd specified and installed the suspended LNVx Warm Air Heater which allows the heater to be kept off the floor areas where most works are provided. The LNVx was used in combination with the MC200 optimising wall controller which can learn air temperatures over the year and adjust bringing heating on earlier or later depending on room temperature at the time of day. Druggit & Harding Ltd also installed 6 x low-velocity HCF sweep fans in the warehouse to help maximise desertification which re-distributed the rising hot air back around the building.
The combination of the LNVx warm air heater and the HCF fans was the perfect solution that now allows the staff to be warm, along with protecting stock. The installation was expertly carried out by the team at Druggit & Harding Ltd and the end customer is satisfied with the new warehouse heating system they have provided which is working extremely well making a great difference all round.
