Project Background

The requirement was for an energy-efficient, warm air heating solution for a 22,000 SQ.FT manufacturing facility to maintain internal temperatures for working staff all year round.

Project Solution

MCL Energy worked with Powrmatic to design a heating system that would deliver a heat requirement of 540kW. This would maintain an internal temperature of 21°C, 24 hours, 7 days a week. For ease of access, four floor-standing gas-fired VPx cabinet heaters were chosen, three of these having specially designed extension plenums added to assist with air distribution.

Project Result

The new energy-efficient system was installed expertly by MCL Energy and their client is extremely pleased with the performance of the new warm air system. Temperature and humidity sensors were also installed to maintain the correct environment for customer requirements.
