Powrmatic’s LX range of gas fired unit heaters are a development of the successful LNVx range already familiar to installers and users alike and comfortably meets new NOx criteria as well as the minimum seasonal efficiencies demanded by the ErP standard that comes into force during 2021.
The LX Warm Air Suspended Gas Heater has been designed with engineers in mind. The hinged control panel allows easy access to the burner compartment during installation and servicing. The new ‘Plug & Play’ control panel allows for quick and trouble-free wiring connections when on site.
Multi in-shot burners matched to each tube assembly and manifolded to a common gas valve and ignition system, itself complete with flame monitoring and safety controls and supplied ready for use with natural gas (G20). Alternative LPG propane (G31) firing available to order.
The LX axial fans are now manufactured with anti-vibration mounts which reduces vibration and noise in any environment allowing the unit to operate more quietly and efficiently.
The LX range has been optimised enabling environmental designers to match outputs and airflow characteristics with a wide variety of differing buildings and applications. The Four pass tubular assembly manufactured from aluminised steel formed, swaged and expanded without recourse to stress-inducing welding. 409 and 316-grade stainless steel options available.

The Powrmatic optimised start controller is designed for ease of use and to maximise the performance of your heating system. It can control individual (MC200) or multiple heaters (MC300) allowing for the flexibility of variable time and temperature control as well as optimised start/stop prediction. By monitoring the heating systems previous performance it can determine the optimum time to turn the heating on to raise the building temperature to the required level.

The new look ErP compliant power vented VPx cabinet heater range has been re-developed with a more compact, robust and proven design with high/low burners as standard. With the range now increased to six, with a new maximum output of 140kW, VPx heaters can be configured for either room sealed or flue only operation. With the introduction to the UK market of the Tub-One radiant strip system Powrmatic continues to lead the industry with this proven highly efficient Impresind product, with its state–of–the–art design, patented tube assembly technique and recirculation system maintaining a constant temperature of the radiant tubes. The Tub-One range has combustion units from; 35 to 300kW providing heat coverage circuit lengths of 20m, suitable for small installations up to 130m for larger facilities.
The heater unit is of unitary construction and built on a galvanised steel sub-frame. A full width door provides access to the heater function controls, gas valve and burner assembly.
System 1 is an economy single-wall pre-fabricated chimney system, which has been designed to service gas & oil fired industrial and commercial warm air heating equipment installed predominantly in industrial units. It’s designed to operate under negative draught and dry conditions.

HCF low velocity impeller de-stratification fans are specifically designed to lower the fuel consumption of space heating systems. The gentle displacement of warm air from roof level down into the working zone converts wasted heat into useful heat reducing fuel consumption.
The OUH range of Oil Unit Heaters are indirect oil fired suspended warm air heaters with a stainless steel heat exchanger as standard and a downwards high/low firing pressure jet oil burner. The OUH range of oil fired unit heaters is comprised of 4 models with outputs ranging from 20kW to 60kW.
