Industrial Unit Heating Solution
Powrmatic was selected to supply various heating solutions for a range of different sized industrial units within the Team Valley Business Centre. Working in partnership with Enright Environmental, they specified various kW LNVx warm air heaters to suit each unit that required heating replacing and upgrading exisiting heaters throughout.
The Team Valley Business Centre is located on Earlsway, within the popular and well established Team Valley Trading Estate. There are thirty three single-storey terraced units within the business centre that are used for a mixture of light industrial, storage, distribution and office accommodation purposes. Various Powrmatic LNVx heaters were selected to heat multiple units as part of ongoing upgrades within the business centre varying in sizes from 240m³ to 600m³. The industrial unit heating soutions were specified and installed by Enright Environmental.
When required, one Powrmatic LNVx suspended gas fired warm air heater was installed into a unit space within the business centre. The required output of the heater will be dependant on the size of the unit, this can vary from 15kW for the smallest units and up to 30kW+ for the larger sized units. The current heating systems within the units are now relatively outdated and inefficient, hence the reason for updating them gradually throughout the business centre to provide an efficient and cost-effective method of keeping these units warm all year round. The flues terminate horizontally through the wall for some of the new heater replacements, in this instance, the old flues have been disconnected ready for removal by the client’s specialist roofing contractor. Powrmatic’s LNVx unit heaters are much more aesthetically pleasing and compact compared to older model heaters of the varying manufacturers and they perform exceptionally well. They are also built to last and under normal circumstances will not require any more than the usual annual service and maintenance requirements for many years.
As a result of the Powrmatic LNVx warm air unit heaters being installed, the business centre is benefiting from a gradual improvement to the heating systems within their internal units. Every LNVx heater that we install comes with an MC200 controller. The MC200 is a digital, high specification controller for individual heaters which provides the flexibility of variable time and temperature control, also featuring optimum start/stop with weather compensation, adjustable frost protection, remote burner reset and summer fan-only operation as standard.
