We have been working hard over the past few months, developing a brand new website for Powrmatic UK. The new mobile-optimised website is packed with new features that we hope will enhance your user experience. Matching the new Powrmatic brand, the new website has a fresh, modern look and utilises the latest website technology. Plus, as it is mobile-optimised, you can now view the site on wide range of devices, including smartphones and tablets, without having to pinch and zoom to find your way around the site.
New features include:
While you are out and about you can easily find and download the information your want in just a few steps. No matter what device you’re using, you can quickly find what you need and make the most of your time online. You can navigate to any page from anywhere on the website via the blue navigation bar at the top of the page. And to make life even easier, the bar will remain visible as you scroll down the pages.
A major addition to the site is our new 3D Interactive Walk-through. The first of its kind within the HVAC industry, you can now step inside the virtual world of various heating, ventilation and air conditioning applications, taking a 360-degree tour to see where and how our products can be installed. Once you find the type of product you are looking for, you can instantly see an animation on how the products work once installed. If you are an installer you can also use the interactive 3D walk-through to give your customers a greater understanding of the products available to them and how they provide the perfect solution for their needs.
All you need to do is visit our website, find your application and click ‘SEE THE 3D WALK-THROUGH’. You will be asked to download Unity Player. This is safe, so just go ahead and download this and wait for the walk-through to start. And don’t worry, once the Unity Player is installed, you won’t have to install it again.
You now have the facility to search for your local installer via our new Google Map. Simply enter your postcode and find the nearest installers to you. If you are an installer and not see your logo and images, don’t worry these are coming. If any installers wish to update their text, add a new logo, or upload any images to their profile page, please email them into [email protected].
We understand the frustration of not being able to find the online information you need quickly. Our main focus for the new website was user experience. We have simplified the structure in a logical order making information easier to locate. Each section is coloured coded to show what department you are currently in, and you can navigate to any page from anywhere on the website via the top blue navigation bar that will be constantly with you as you scroll down the pages. Contacting any member of the team or department couldn’t be easier with all the contact details in one place in our new contacts section.
You can also search for old and new brochure downloads by going into each department and clicking ‘downloads’. Then use the search facility on the right to find your desired product brochure (old or new). So whether you are finding out information on an old style PGUH or CPx, you can quickly find what you need within a few clicks.
We know that a picture paints a thousand words, that’s why we have created an extensive library of new images of our products. We now have more images on every product, from standalone images and close ups to onsite installation images to give visitors a better understanding of the design and features of our products.
We have also created a new YouTube Video Channel, where you will find all of the latest videos from Powrmatic, including a brilliant time-lapse video of a recent TE Warehouse Heater Installation. We also have product animation videos and videos of our manufacturing capabilities at our factory in Ilminster. All of these videos are viewable on the various pages around the website. Although our video library is not quiet as big as we like it to be, we are working hard to create more Powrmatic videos for you, so make sure you keep visiting to check them out.
Finally we have a blog! Our new blog holds some really informative and useful topics covering a range of HVAC issues, problems, guides and general information from ‘ A Guide To Restaurant Air Conditioning’ to ‘The 12 Things To Know Before Calculating Heat Loss’. There really is something for everyone at our blog. The blog also give us the opportunity to shine a light on some of the interesting, and sometimes surprising, things going on at Powrmatic, from staff fundraising to new recruits.
