We proudly value and support our network of loyal installers who are at the forefront of everything we do. We spoke with our valued engineers at Octagon Heating Services to tell us a bit more about their business and to share their experience of working with Powrmatic.

Tell us a little about you, what you guys do, and how it all began?

OHS are a heating, plumbing and mechanical installation company. We have been trading for over 20 years and carry out essential maintenance/service works as well as offering breakdown assistance to all our customers.
The company director Julian Hopkins has owned OHS for this period of time and with the full support of his engineering and dedicated office based team has built the business to where it is today.
We are fortunate to have worked and continue to work with some of the larger, well known Contractors and we have a large portfolio of mechanical installation projects undertaken over the years for some very high profile customers, ranging from private schools, large commercial properties, churches, hotels and hi-end private residential properties, to name a few.

How long have you been working with Powrmatic?

We have worked with Powrmatic for many years – I would say as long as we have been trading.

Why do you like working with Powrmatic?

We have a long-standing working relationship with Powrmatic who are always keen to meet our needs even at short notice.

What does a typical day look like for a heating engineer?

Our engineers are responsible for booking in the majority of their daily work, which usually comprises of scheduled servicing and minor installations. At times, when required, they will have to attend to urgent breakdowns and carry our commissioning works for the install team.

What does the future hold for you, and the HVAC industry as a whole?

We have a strong hold in the mechanical services industry and our aim is to continue providing our services to all our customers and grow the business even more.
